Any problem connecting sierra wireless using ubuntu??. I will consult you step by step .The article below may help you.
WHAT DO YOU NEED ???
- of couse your modem
- registered celcom3g sim card
1. open the terminal, then type sudo gedit /etc/wvdial.conf
(then insert password if needed)
2.gedit application will appear, then insert all the text below:
save and quit
3.Insert your modem(sierra 875 u)in usb slot
4.Restart!
5.login again using ubuntu. Then go to terminal and type
sudo wvdial
insert password
you will succesfully access it. Try to open web browser. Then go to 'File' and disable 'work offline mode'. Then enjoy surfing internet
